Latent Prints By KCerena

Latent Prints by KCerena
Post Breaking Dawn

Ever felt like some of the characters and concepts Stephenie Meyer created, in particular in Breaking Dawn, were ill conceived and poorly developed? Did the werewolfs imprinting behavior creep you out just a tad? KCerena in her story "Latent Imprints" delves into the subject of imprinting and its consequences with her story about Leah and Renesme. The story picks up six years after Renesme was born and Jacob imprinted on her.

Renesme is now physically a fully grown teenager, but her mind hasn't quite caught about with all the changes. Add to that a slightly sheltered upbringing facilitated by the always hovering and suffering Edward and his loyal companion Bella, and you have a completely confused teenager. As Nessie discovers love and life through real experiences rather than books, she stumbles upon Leah, the only female werewolf of the pack. Leah has spent the last 6 years away from the pack in hiding. She is unable to deal with constantly having to share her pain with the other members of pack. Even though all the male werewolfs of the pack continue to belittle her and make fun of her upon her return to Forks, she helps Jacob out when she reveals to Nessie that he is in love with her.

If your curious about these overlooked and often forgotten characters, go check out the KCerena's beautifully written and witty story. She has seven chapters up so far and we can see the beginnings of a friendship (or maybe more?) blooming between innocent Renesme and jaded Leah. Can she make a love story out of this? I hope so.

Please go check out her story & show her some love by leaving a review!
