Although she’s forced to see him once in a while, due to his rocky friendship with her husband, she’s promised herself to avoid him at all cost.

When a jaded and broken Bella decides to break that promise to herself one night after a fight with her jealous and overbearing husband, it turns her life upside down and sends her on roller coaster ride of lies, deceit, and revelations that test her morals as well as her knowledge of what’s real and unreal.

Will she follow her heart this time, in what might be a second chance at true love? Will she tear her family apart doing it? Will she even get that chance once the secret she’s kept from the man she left long ago is revealed?
